Introduction
‘Nohuts’ means Nohuts Advertising Limited, whose principal place of business is at Westgate Hills, Montego Bay, Reading PO Box 7009, JMCJS17, St. James, Jamaica WI. Nohuts provides a listing of Jamaican residential and commercial real estate advertisements placed by our customers for viewing with property hunters across the world on our Websites (e.g., www.nohuts.com).
Your Right to Privacy
Nohuts fully respects your right to privacy in relation to your interactions with our website. While gathering information about the people who use the site is an important part of the Nohuts experience, we take your privacy very seriously, and make every effort to safeguard your personal data. This privacy policy is intended to inform you of what information we collect, how this information is used, and what steps we take to protect this information.
Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using Nohuts and any services we offer via this Website or any of our other Websites, you are agreeing to be bound by this policy.

Types of Information Collected
We collect two kinds of information:

Automatically collected, non-personal information, which includes tracking information gathered as you use the Websites.
We may use this information to help customise your Nohuts experience based on your previous activities on our Websites.
Information You Provide Directly to Us
Login Credentials
When you register an account with Nohuts, we ask you to provide a unique email address, first and last name, and password.
Billing and Credit Card Details
When required for advert payments, we may request and store name, address, telephone number, email address and billing information. We do not store credit card numbers except for the last 4 digits. This information will only be shared with third parties who perform tasks required to complete the purchase transaction.
Social Media Identities
You may choose to create a Nohuts account using the Facebook or Google connect features on one of our Websites. By doing this, you are asking Facebook or Google to send us certain information from your Facebook or Google profile, and you authorise us to collect, store and use in accordance with this privacy policy any and all information available to us through the Facebook or Google interface.
Emails to Advertisers
You may choose to use our Email Advertisers form to contact property owners, agents or occupiers. We record the information you use to complete the form and share the details with the relevant advertiser.
Emails to Friends
If you choose to use the Emails to Friends functionality on any of our Websites, we will keep a record to help is in assessing the performance of the website.
General Comments
We will keep a record of all comments and queries received (e.g. in relation to website performance, website functionalities, and suspected fraudulent or misleading property postings) to work on continually improving the service we provide.
Information We Gather Automatically
Information for Service Management and Tracking
We use various technologies to manage the Websites and track use of the content we provide, which may include:
the IP address used when registering and submitting content to the site;
standard web analytics information;
aggregated data about email click-through rates and video viewing; and,
information collected through HTML cookies, Flash cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies.

Provision of services

If you are a property advertiser, we may send you information that visitors to any of our Websites have requested we send on to notify you of their interest in a specific property you advertised on the pertinent Website. We may also use the information that we collect to send you other e-mail communications, such as information about your account or changes to the Websites.
Statistical Analysis
We perform statistical analyses of users of the site, and their viewing and participation patterns, for product development purposes and to generally inform advertisers about the nature of our audience. Please note that we do not share contact information with our advertisers.
Third Parties
We may employ third parties to perform site-related services, including database management, maintenance services, analytics, marketing, billing and email distribution. These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf.

Children
We do not intend to solicit or collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are under 16 you should not use or enter information on this Site.
Disclaimer
Nohuts shall not be liable in respect of any claims, emergencies, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, expenses, including without limitation, reasonable legal fees and costs of proceedings arising out of or in connection with the use and/or dissemination of personal information relating to you in accordance with this privacy policy and your consents.
You should be aware that where you link to another website from the Websites, that Nohuts has no control over that other website. Nohuts has no responsibility for the privacy practices of other websites.
You should be aware that third parties may independently collect data about you, including your IP address and information about the websites you visit and the links you click, through cookies, clicks on links, or other means when you visit or view ads on the site. Nohuts does not control the privacy practices of these third-party services. In addition, you should note that when you link to another website from the Websites (e.g., to share or recommend the Website content using a social media outlet), that Nohuts has no control over that other website. Nohuts has no responsibility for the privacy practices of other websites.
Use of Technical Information
Cookies are pieces of information which are transferred to your device when you visit a website. Cookies may involve the transmission of information from us to you and from you directly to us, to another party on our behalf, or to another party in accordance with its privacy policy. The only cookies we use on the Websites are session cookies, which are stored in your computer's memory for the length of your browsing session. They are inaccessible after each session has been inactive for a time and are automatically deleted from your computer when the browser is closed.
Sale of Business
We reserve the right to transfer information (including your personal data) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of our company provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of this privacy policy and provided that the third party only uses your personal data for the purposes that you provided it to us. You will be notified in the event of any such transfer and you will be afforded an opportunity to opt-out.
Security
Your personal data is held on secure servers hosted by Media Temple. The nature of the Internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the internet. No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, we will take all reasonable steps to put in place commercially reasonable physical, technical and administrative controls to prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of information so that your information is protected.
Deleting Personal Data
You can request that your personal data be deleted at any time by requesting that we close it via the Edit Account Settings area after you've logged in. Alternatively, feel free to make the request by contacting us directly via our Contact page.
However, please note that not all your personal data will be removed. Some personal data (e.g., your first name, last name, and email) will only be anonymised (i.e., de-identified) to maintain the usability of the anonymized data for other uses (e.g., data analytics). The anonymisation of your personal data will be completed in a manner to prevent anyone from being able to re-construct your identity from the anonymised data.
In addition, your some of your public data (e.g., property listings) will be retained.
You will not be able to access your account after the deletion process has been completed.
